Three bears situation

Q: I have a 36” palace for my Bernedoodle. However, she is getting to large for the loft. She is 5 months, almost 20 lbs and is outdoor potty trained. When is the best time to remove the loft so she has more sleeping room? Should I just lower it to the bottom or get a sleeping pad for the crate? She no longer needs the pee pads. We expect her to be 40-50 pounds.
A: At her age you can just remove the loft and add any soft bed you like.
