Getting used to car trips
July 23, 2015, 9:13 AM- Q: Sorry for calling back. Is It okay for him to ride with me in the car or should I allow him to stay home on short trips when I'm coming straight back to the house? So maybe he can get used to being by himself.
- A: I would suggest that you get your puppy well adjusted to being by himself and leash trained before casual car travel. Using some type of safety restraint or having a passenger to hold him is preferred.
