Approach to Training

Q: We have a 10 week old Teacup Yorkie. We have had her for a week and although we don’t have the pup pee poo palace we have a similar crate and are training her using the same methods. She is doing great not crying in the night anymore and she only cry’s for a few minutes on occasion when place her back in her crate during the day. My question is, when she wakes up in the morning around 7 she barks and cry’s like crazy. Do we wait until she stops to get her out even if she has been in her crate all night?
A: It depends on your schedule and what you want to accomplish. If you are awake and preparing for your day then I would get her out. If outdoor training is part of your plan then pick her up and take her outside. If indoor training is the goal then you would leave her until she eliminates.
