Sore After Vaccines
August 23, 2016, 5:29 PM- Q: My puppy just received his rabies shot today. He is very sore and has been crying periodically when he roles on his or he scratches. He's a Teddy Bear breed, 16 weeks old and weighs 7.8lbs. Do you think it would be OK to give him some baby aspirin?
- A: Yes that would be fine and for his weight 1/2 baby aspirin (approx 40 mg) and you coiled repeat again today and tomorrow morning if needed. The discomfort usually lasts no more than 2-3 days. Let me know if any other questions.
