Cold Weather Gear
September 6, 2013, 8:52 AM- Q: Will my Cavalier need a sweater and/or boots in the cold weather to go out to do her business? She will be living in Ohio. She will be 6+ months old.
- A: You can generally get most puppies to adapt to clothing by starting well ahead of time and have her wear one item at a time for short periods. Gradually increase the frequency and duration of each session. If you have a big box pet store nearby take her in and try several items and be sure you select appropriate fit, she may even help you decide.
