How Much Food?
July 4, 2014, 3:48 PM- Q: We have a 4 1/2 month old Cavachon. How much food should she be given a day? I am feeding her approximately 1/3 cup, 3 times a day. I am gradually switching her dry food.
- A: Just like us your puppy will not eat the same amount every day or every meal. Rule of thumb on a puppy is let them eat what they want in about 5 minutes 3 times daily. Probably the verge would be 1-11/2 cups per 5 pounds body weight per day. Review the other forum questions on "food"
