Why Won't My Yorkie Eat His New Food?
April 14, 2012, 10:04 AM- Q: I have a Yorkie, about 5 months old and I recently switched to a new holistic brand of puppy food, which he refuses to eat. I have tried adding some holistic chicken flavored wet food to make it more appealing but he still wont eat it. Please help!
- A: Changing a puppies food can be tricky. Try to ease him into it by mixing his normal food with the new food. At first put only 20% of the new food into the mix, and gradually increase every few days to a week depending on how he responds. -Dr.Pup
