Could it be carrots?

Q: In response to my hives questions, I'm not sure if it's something he picked while we walk him, we are constantly taking things out of his mouth. I'm think it might carrots that are mixed in his wet food that he sometime eats, it's Blue a Buffalo brand wet food. But he ate a plain carrot once and had an immediate reaction. I'm thinking this might be the problem.

A: It is best to test your theory. Hives are not threatening so wait till they are gone for several days. Try the carrots, if he doesn't get hives we need to look for another trigger.
