Q: My maltese chews on her feet constantly until they are drenched she does this for an hour at least she just started doing it any suggestions? why is she doing it?
A: There would be three fairly common explanations for chewing at her feet. !. Response to surface irritation for household cleaners, carpet treatments irritants from out door areas 2. Yeast or bacterial infection of the nail beds 3. Early expression of allergy You could try cleaning her feet daily with baby wipes, if after a week you do not think that is helping then you should probably have your vet take a look.
