Ate fertilizer
May 13, 2021, 11:56 PM- Q: My 13 week old pomeranian puppy just ate half a fistful of fertilizer in our garden. He started coughing and gagging for a minute, and pooped right after. He seems to be doing okay for now, but should I give him some pepto bismol or something just in case?
- A: If it has been more than a few hours there really is not much you can do. You might expect some diarrhea for a few days but it should be temporary. Giving Pepto at 0.5ml per pound 2-3 times a day is ok
