Locating the palace

Q: I’d like to keep the puppy place in the LR during the day, so she can see us! But at night I’d like to put her in the master bedroom bathroom for the night. You said never move the cage? How can I do this without confusing her. I’m hoping to pad train her in the cage snd then move her out onto a safe balcony using the pads? My plan is to take her out there after eating and play . Then nap her in the cage!
