Age to Socialize

Q: I want to socialize my new pups as soon as possible. My sister said they have to be a certain age. Her dog is big and we will take precaution, but he is very gentle and kind. All his shots, ect. are up to date. What age is good to start socializing my new pups

A: There are many types of solicialization but if we are talking about young puppies with other pups , older dogs or people anytime after weaning is good. You are right to good slow and be a referee with other dogs. And keep in mind each pup may have its own pace so watch their responses closely in each situation and adjust as needed.
