Appetite and teething

Q: Our 4.5 months old Maltipoo is getting her new teeth and stopped to eat her dry food for multiple days. Unfortunately we haven’t found the right wet food as replacements so far and more or less force feed her with baby food. What should we do? Should we try to find a softer dry food?

A: Chances are teething and refusing the dry food may not be related.  At that age there are multiple teeth erupting but usually without much impact.  Also at that age you can just wait it I out.
