Although dachshunds can sometimes exhibit a stubborn streak, they are generally eager to learn and can be easily trained with patience and consistency. Using positive reinforcement techniques and engaging their natural curiosity, dachshunds can excel in a variety of activities, such as obedience training, agility, and scent work.
